This season is going to be brutal. Reminder our GM traded up for Josh Rosen.
The season isn’t over after 1 week but it’s clearly on life support. Zero improvements from last years team just means that we’ll scrape into playoffs if we’re lucky and enjoy another televised blowout but with our strong schedule even that isn’t guaranteed.
Recruitment has been mostly been piss poor for years and this defense is a prime example of that.
It’s all ok though because Keim knows exactly what we need is another linebacker who takes 2 years to fit into our system instead of the secondary that gets torched every time we come up against a competent offense.
Can anyone honestly say that with the noteable players missing we’d still pose a credible threat to the proper superbowl contenders because with a secondary and o-line that poor I just cannot see us advancing.
I wonder who gets his 3rd DUI tonight 🤔

Not much to say about this one that hasn’t already been said. Defense isn’t going to improve much unless some drastic and desperate signings are made. Simmons and Zaven looked absolutely lost. Offense wasn’t completely terrible but Kyler had to play perfect to even have a chance and that just wasn’t on the table.
Good news is the rest of the division is looking just as bad barring Geno Smith pulling a miracle out of his ass, and we play arguably the weakest team in the AFC West next week. On to the next one. Go Cards.
Got my season ticket last year, I’m currently on a 6 game losing streak in this stadium. Also the whole “protect the nest” thing can fuck off. Overwhelmed by opposition fans again.
Dortch carrying his preseason form into the game is pretty much the lone bright spot from this game. Although tbf we did see signs of life from Eno and Kyler as well, so there were some good things on offense. Wish I could say the same for our defense.
We just need to stay alive until Hop gets back and the rest of our roster is healthy again. But no excuses for this loss, we just looked completely outmatched. Inadequate protection for Kyler especially for the first three quarters and a lack of separation by our WRs apart from Dortch and maybe Hollywood killed us. And like I said, our defense completely folded. Mahomes is a great QB.

That was like watching Alabama getting to beat up on one of the shitty FCS teams.
Extending Keim and Kliff was the worst mistake Bidwill ever made. KC is what a model coaching staff and org looks like.
Offensive and defensive line is how you win championships and ours looks like it’s going to compete for the championship… of being complete trash. Unless we get healthy and find some people who are serviceable we will see many games like this one
I can’t believe this is the team we get after keim gets a 5 fucking year extension. It starts with him at the top and everything from there on down is just shit. He should have been on the hot seat this year along with kliff. Instead it’s going to set the organization back hugely if Bidwill ever grows a pair and realizes he needs to fire keim and probably kliff along with him.

This one will be fun to learn about on Hard Knocks. I’m sure Kliff will just say they “need to clean some things up”. 😅
