An Update on Baker Posts.

Now that that game is over, and barring some massive news story that draws back on his time here (that does not mean a post game quote from Baker) there is no more “Baker Posts”

#This is included but not limited to:

-Thank You Baker Posts

-On this Day Baker did “X” Posts

-On this Day we drafted Baker Posts

-Do you guys think we’d be better off with Baker still Posts

-What was your favorite memory from Bakers time here Posts

—–

He is not on the roster, he does not have “legend” status like Jim Brown, Otto Graham, Joe Thomas, Bernie Kosar…etc.

This does not mean we are not thankful for his time here and the contributions he made, he is no longer a Brown, we had our thanks for everything posts games like the Jets week 3 in 2018, the Steelers Playoff Win, that 2nd half after Odell got hurt vs the Bengals will forever be cherished here, but it is time to move forward.

Any future Baker posts will be removed, if a user continually makes posts on Baker it can be counted as a violation of Rule 4 (Post not related to the Browns) or [Reddit’s rule on spam](https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043504051).

This is related to posting, we are not banning people for comments about Baker that’s what up/down votes are for, this is strictly no more posts.

Thanks.

  1. Wish Cavs sub took this approach with LBJ.

E: when did I say I hate LeBron? Of course he’s the best player we’ve ever had and the championship was amazing. He’s still in the league though and on another team. I know younger generations are more fans of specific players, but I’m a fan of Cleveland and the teams, and he’s not with us right now. Wait until he’s either back on the team one day, or retires, then let all the postings occur. To me posting about LBJ is like posting about any other opponent in the league.

  2. Healthy choice for the sub.

Also for the record has Cade York reached Browns “legend” status yet? Pretty sure the answer is yes but figure it’s a good time to check.

  3. I read the post title and I thought this was gonna be heavy handed.

I read the post text and this seems very fair.

  4. I thought yesterday was the perfect farewell to baker for 3 reasons.

    1. The browns won.
    2. Baker looked terrible for 3 quarters, reinforcing the decision by the front office to move on.
    3. Baker looked good at the end of the game. I wish him well and hope he continues that solid play against the rest of the league.

  5. Let’s have as many baker posts as we have posts about other qbs for teams not in our conference.

  6. Comments should be flagged, because people on both sides are going to keep bringing him up.

It’s over now, and the sub can enjoy some semblance of peace until Week 6/7 )when DW can rejoin the team) and Week 13.

  7. I agree with this direction, but my question is how does this differ from previous X QBs. Maybe I’m not recalling clearly but I think there have been discussions or low lights of old QBs like Manziel and Kiser.

Will Baker be able to be posted in this way, or are all old QB style posting forbade now?

    Honest question.

  8. While I still believe he holds a special place in browns history, particularly 21st century history, this is clearly the best way to go

Great decision mods, let’s focus on the guys who are actually on the roster moving forward lol

  9. Baker is average, appreciate the playoff win/appearance but not sure why everyone sucks his dick so hard.
