  4. Carlos Rodon would be another great option for the Braves this off-season. Let’s give him a first hand look at the kind of run support he could expect here next season.

  8. Interesting seeing people group the Riley and Olson slumps together like they’re similar falls from greatness. Riley is a king and a perennial top 3 at his position and Olson is Olson.

  10. Might be a good day to give Olson a day off. Tough lefty, and he would get two days off in a row. D’Arnaud has a little bit of experience at first, maybe you could get both him and Contreras in the lineup today.

  13. What causes someone to have a sub 1.0 WHIP but a high-ish ERA like Rodon? Lots of home runs given up?

  14. Read an article before last night’s start that Kyle’s arm was “dragging” and it seemed to show he wasn’t as sharp as he was all season this past start, or the one before. Hopefully he’s going to be able to rest enough to not cause issues in October.

  15. Acuña’s power hasn’t been there a ton but he’s having a perfectly fine season despite what people may be thinking outside the know.

    Excited for him to get fully healthy.

    I don’t think his norms are going to be 35 plus homers once healthy, I just think the juiced balls in 19 inflated everyone’s numbers, but if he can hit 25 to 30 every year in the lead off spot and do everything else he does that will be amazing.

  16. I haven’t watched the last 2 games since they’ve been 9:45 start times, but I noticed Grissom was out. I’m assuming he’s still sore as a result of the collision with Grossman the other day.

  17. I took the day off from work to go see the boys play today, hoping it goes better than the last time I saw them play this year
