Frank Reich: Alec Pierce developed concussion symptoms after the game and is now in the concussion protocol. Took a huge hit in the game that bent his facemask.

Dirty freaking hit.
ooof
Dezmon Patmon SZN in Jacksonville…
This is what the cool kids call ” not ideal “
That hit reminded me of one Austin Collie.
Welcome to the league
Never would consider rushing a player back from a potential concussion, but I’m curious, does anyone know how the 2022 concussion protocol works? Is Pierce theoretically done for the week, regardless of a concussion diagnosis?
Can’t believe that guy didn’t get ejected… or at least a review.
There’s a guy out there who remains unsigned who could add some real pressure for our WRs to develop while also not dropping TDs if we need someone to replace Pierce for a bit while he recovers…
Fuck

After the game? The guy went out briefly and woke up when his head hit the turf. Watch his arms go stiff on the replay
Sounds like TY Hilton’s music to me…
Oh the one wherein the guy who leveled him should have been ejected and fined but didn’t?
MEGASTRACHAN TIME IS NOW
Strachan should start if he’s out.
The guy who knocked him shoulda been removed immediately
I was actually kind of amazed he wasn’t taken in the locker room afterwards. That hit looked absolutely brutal
I was curious about this because he looked dazed from that hit. Was expecting them to cart him off.
I hope with all my being we don’t have an Austin Collie 2.0 on our hands.
If a player makes a dirty hit like that they should be suspended until the player they hit comes off concussion protocol.
We lose a receiver for a game and a half and they only take a 15 yard penalty?
