[Kawakami] Thought it was notable that when I asked Myers about extension talks with Poole and Wiggins, he immediately added Draymond to that list. Wasn’t going to give details, but he said: “The goal is to keep those guys, all three of them, as long as we can.”

I wouldn’t pay draymond what he’s asking. I don’t think any team would either.
If we keep all of these guys omg
Of course it’s the goal… The goal is to sign 15 All NBA guys on minimums, if you can.
It’s so great to hear how much the coaching staff and management have been talking about dray and what he means to the team all summer. Kenny Atkinson said dray/ steph/kerr were the most impressive people to watch during the playoffs, kerr said dray and steph are the keys to the way we play, steph said he/dray/klay are a package deal… everyone in the organization knows what draymond means to this team, and I have no doubt he’ll be around for a long time. This sub being super weird about him and counting his money doesn’t matter at all because the people who matter all know what’s good.
It sucks because they didn’t pay Draymond as much as he deserved in the past. Now they can’t make up for it without compromising our chances of winning now and in the future
This says a lot but it also says nothing.
What are we supposed to say? Our goal is to not be able to keep our guys?
I mean obviously Myers isn’t going to be like “yeah we’re probably going to have to let one these guys go next season”
