  1. That’s tough news for Gose. Likely will miss all of next season as well. Worked so hard to make that transition to the mound and finally made it back to the bigs. Hopefully he gets another chance somewhere.

  2. F in the chat + thanks to him for a couple huge late inning K’s in that first W against the Dodgers, I feel like that series marked the first time we showed we could really make some noise this year

  3. Don’t love that we’re starting Gaddis, seems like a perfect opportunity to throw Mckenzie out there after 5 games rest and grab another game lead on the sox

  4. That’s a shame. Sad way for his journey back to the big leagues to end, hopefully another team will take a flyer on him when he’s healthy again.

I’ll best remember him for when the team was in Oakland earlier this year and I took my son to his first baseball game. We did a little lap around the stadium and found ourselves overlooking the bullpen where Gose was warming up. In between warm up pitches he looked up into the stands with an intense look on his face, mentally prepping, but in doing so he happened to make eye contact with my son which broke his concentration and he cracked a smile and waved. Just a cute little moment I won’t forget.

  5. Why do we keep starting Pilkington in the back end of double headers? Are we *trying* to punt on them?
