  1. Well I guess I’m watching the game on mute today… fucking awful Apple TV broadcast.

Where can I listen to the game today, last time Apple TV was on there was no radio broadcast for the game.

  2. God I hate the apple TV broadcasts. Not only does the booth suck but I’ve never used apple products so its super annoying to get my wife’s login for her apple account.

  3. Just came to say Fuck Apple TV and any entity that looks to segment content back into cable TV model.

  4. Reminder to all, the Jays radio broadcast is excellent. Ben Wagner and Caleb Joseph do a great job together.

  5. I’m going to come out as a fan of the AppleTV broadcast because of the visual presentation. The broadcast is stunning looking and it’s already influenced the sports net broadcast in the way they are shooting certain aspects of the game with on field cameras.

I love our audio booth, which I think is amongst the best in baseball. This does admittedly make the audio feed from Apple TV crew hard to listen too. They remain, in my opinion, superior to a lot of team broadcasts. I watch a lot of baseball and holy hell some booths are just painful to listen to.

I wish MLB (who actually controls the Apple broadcast; apple is just a distributor and had some say over the visuals – which are great and clean) would make a deal with the teams to borrow one of their guys, so the Apple TV booth would have someone from each team. Alternatively, it would be cool for them to consistently get former players from each team to join them.

The jays being represented on AppleTV also increases the chances of expanded fan base. Teams like the Yankees, Dodgers, Braves, and Cubs have massive fan bases because those games weren’t accessible to nearly every American for decades through KTLA, TBS, WGN, etc… a wider fan base means more money for the team and then we can start building some generational teams.

    Go Jays!

  6. This series is our chance to put Baltimore in the rear view miror. A sweep could mean we are focused on wildcard position rather then just making the playoffs.
