Very encouraging to hear! In brief, he says he’s building things everyday. Post work, rim protection.
He’s been working pick ups with Poole for the past week, they’re building chemistry. James will get minutes w the second unit and small ball minutes. He’ll be restricted freedom but he’ll also be given opportunities to shoot it from deep
specific roles + consistent playing time + working with d milo = contributing player
contributing player + hof 3 + most of the team from last year = potato chips
Really encouraged by the sound bite, thanks for sharing. That‘s basically what we all want to hear, we don’t need Wiseman to be an All-NBA caliber big man, if he can do the little things, rebound, defend and be somewhat of a threat from deep, that’s more than enough. I’ve been saying that I feel like he’ll start the season off fairly slow and get better and better throughout the reg season. By playoff time I hope he will be able to fight with Looney for the starting C spot, though it’ll also depend on matchups I reckon.
