A fully healthy John Tavares could do wonders for the Leafs

1. I’m disappointed that so many are ready to write him off so quickly. Yeah, he’s getting older and he’s not a quick skater, but he’s still a high IQ player with great work ethic. He looked fantastic to end off the 2021 season before getting nuked in the head by Perry in the playoffs, and even against Tampa he stepped up big in the last 3 games of the series (bullshit reffing took away a critical goal of his in game 7). I think with a proper off-season he will hopefully go back to his premium level of play.

2. Will he be faster next season? That was (pun intended) the biggest thing slowing him down

3. How unhealthy was he all season? (Understanding the massive hit he took)
