First game at Busch since 2017. First time seeing them live since I went to Monterey, Mexico and saw them play two against the Reds in 2019.
I saw an Arenado error, which is incredibly rare. I saw an amazeballs defensive play from Arenado that nailed a runner at the plate. I saw Pujols donger 698. Saw the probable NL MVP and former Texas State Bobcat go 2 for 4 with 2 runs and a RBI. I saw an immaculate inning for the first time in my life. Saw a come from behind win.
In this moment, I am euphoric.

* I was at the game and didn’t realize Helsley had the immaculate inning until I got home, lol.
* I got a shitty video of 698 on my phone! The lady in front of me got a much better video, and I almost asked her if she would send it to me, but I thought that might be weird.
* The stadium was packed. Everyone was in a good mood even when we were down.
* Helsley’s entrance is awesome, but they bring the lights up too soon, imo. They need to wait until he’s on the mound.
* One of things I love about going to the game is hearing other people talk about baseball. I wasn’t let down. Lots of cool baseball talk all around.
* Redbird Club is pretty nice just because there are barely any lines for anything. The view is great, too.
* the Kohn’s deli Pastrami dog is still the GOAT, but I really love the ballpark pizza, lol. My sister said it tasted like Sbarro’s, but that was not a negative to me.
#As a Cardinals fan, I would like to thank our pitching coach, Greg Maddux, for coaching the pitching. Had he not coached the pitching, the pitching would have been uncoached. And as we all know, uncoached pitching can be worse than coached pitching. So, I am thankful that Greg has been there all year so that the pitching could have a coach.
I did not expect to see Waino pitch during my San Diego trip, but he is scheduled on Tuesday. I am so excited to see the boys next week.
