6 changes the NY Jets need to make to their roster ASAP

The OL is going to get massacred on Sunday. Offense is going to be brutal.
Most expensive OL in the NFL lol Thought JD was a guru with the trenches?
I don’t think they need to do anything, tbh. People need to realize that this is still a rebuilding year. If we suck cause we end up playing Mitchell at RT or one of the backups at FS, then it is what it is and the young players will be evaluated. Then when we’re hopefully in a position to actually compete next year, JD will look for more long-term solutions if they don’t measure up. Mann probably does need to go though.
A lot of this is about depth and insurance, when in reality, what the team needs is just better starters at tackle, linebacker, and safety. I’m worried about next offseason since we don’t have much cap space right now and have a lot of early round players set to make more money next year. Hopefully we end with a top 5 pick and just take BPA with every pick no matter what
As fans we’re gonna have to ride the wave of a team playing a ton of rookies and dealing with some injuries to key starters. Mitchell is going to have a tall order blocking Clowney this weekend, as Clowney’s power is a big mismatch for him at this stage in his career.
The only changes I could see happening based on last Sunday would be:
* GW starts taking reps away from Davis or Moore if the drops continue * Adams or Davis replacing Joyner if we keep seeing blown coverages * Ruckert steps in for Uzomah based on injuries / lack of production * JD signs a veteran tackle in case Fant’s injury flares up or Mitchell looks overmatched * Duane Brown is done for the season, they can try to polish a turd as much as we want but I think we >90% know what the news will be
The only 100% change is Mann needs to go.

Need to bring Big Tuna back, 1-15 to 9-7 to AFC championship game(12-4). 2 seasons, that’s a turn around. Damn shame Vinny got hurt the next year.
