Swift is a problem. For some reason Jacksonville quit trying to run on us, averaging 7ypc IIRC. Hope we can get a giant lead & force Goff into some turnovers.
Time for the Lions third string, no-name running back to have a huge breakout game
Shouldn’t matter if Swift plays or not as Detroit is gonna be missing all 3 of their starters on the interior (Vaitai + Ragnow + Jackson). If they’re still able to run all over us while down 3/5 starters on the O-Line, that would reflect very poorly on our defensive game planning, especially since our D-Line (specifically the interior) is our strongest unit, even without Young.
Our starters at interior are strong but we have no depth with Mathis out for the year…it could still be a problem
Their tackles are good so they will just run to the outside
