– Most of the guys fighting for the end of roster spots on the Wolves are in for workouts – they went and had a softball game this week

– Tim Connelly is currently away scouting. He was in Belgrade and then went to watch Rudy Gobert in Eurobasket alongside the scouting team

– Finch went to Egypt for Basketball Without Borders – massively impressed with the talent level of the young players there. He champions international basketball and was very hands on in teaching these players

– Finch also travelled to Germany to meet Rudy Gobert, talk team and ideas for next year and watch him play in Eurobasket games.

– Rudy has already bonded with some of the Wolves players through text – namely he has formed a fast friendship with KAT

– Rudy is going to be eased into training camp compred to other Wolves given he has played a lot this offseason

– Finch needs a few weeks more to finish planning for the new look Wolves but he’s very excited and knows he and the team will be ready come the training camp

– They are motivated by the Memphis series in knowing where they need to be better and knowing their fatal flaws. Maturity is needed, and the team needs to be less emotional to keep their leads.

– Dlo is incredibly motivated this year. And Finch believes the Gobert trade will help unlock the best of Dlo.

– The 15th spot is completely up for grabs. Nate Knight and Rivers are not safe and will battle Paschall, Elleby etc to keep their spots.

  1. I love having a lot of real talent fighting for that last spot. Feels good having all those guys come here to try and make a competitive roster, especially since a few of them would probably more easily make it into a weaker organization’s roster.

  2. I had a feeling Rudy and Kat would be good friends- they both have similar nerdy vibes lol.

Glad to hear Dlo is motivated.

This season needs to come faster
