I’ve been watching this happen for so long it doesn’t even hurt anymore. That’s the silver (and black) lining in all of it.
I’ve been a pretty die hard fan for 25-30 years, and I think that was genuinely the first time I’ve seen THAT bad of a loss.
All of the things that had to go wrong and the number of things we had to do to beat ourselves, over and over, in order to lose that game…I think this actually may be a first.
Fuck this team, I’ll see you all next week ready to be hurt again.
Losing in the dark times wasn’t that bad because we had no hope.
Now we’ve been in this sub talking the team up over the off-season, believing the hype and now we get this shit.
Every season I foolishly and silently believe it will be “our” year. I just want to see them win a super bowl in my lifetime.

I’d like to apologize to all those “all that to finish 4th place comments” I adamantly argued on Twitter. You all were right, im sorry. Keeping rich bisaccia would have been the right move.
I just turned 33, getting speckled grey hair. People asked if I’m stressed from work or my relationship. I just tell them I’m a raiders fan and my body is showing my team colors.
Been thru it all over these last couple decades but today was one of the lowest of lows
i could feel this starting to happen midway through the third. We took our foot off the pedal and relaxed. Didnt adjust defensively once the cardinals found something that worked. We should have been trying to gut them 41-0. Soft defense loses games. From now on we get a lead I want to see that offense turning it up a notch and run the score up.
