Magic number charts for the wildcards vs the Brewers and Phillies (after the Sept. 18th games). The brown is gaining ground!

Closing in, putting the pressure on. This is what I love to see!! Not being on the outside is so nice, being in the driver’s seat just makes me want to watch more Padres games to find out if we can close in and squeeze the Brewers chances to zero 😀
Here is how I see it:
If we win 8 games we have a damn good chance to make the playoffs.
That would force the brewers to win a series against the Mets. Take 3/4 from both the reds and marlins, split with STL, and sweep the Dbacks to beat us out.
For 8 games we would only need one game from STL and LA and to win the Rockies, White Sox, and SF series. Very doable
I know it’s gonna take some good baseball, but I really just wanna see these boys hit 90 wins on the season
7-8 would probably do it but I’d rather it not be that stressful.
Magic number is 13. Manny Machado!
Just keep winning until we clinch a spot. Then let the starters rest. Simple
Just gotta win and get in. But man I’d much rather go against St. Louis than Atlanta first round. Then we get Mets in second round
