I did not expect a good season. But the way they look is eerily familiar.

We been conned.
Another GM who doesn’t know his ass from actual talent, more buzzword coaches and the same shitty product. Yep, it’s the McCaskeys. Let’s keep buying up as much stupid Bears shit so this can keep on keeping on and the royal family of Chicago can keep on being useless and living high on the hog being “fans”.
Every Bears head coach at one point before the season is given the book and told to go to Virginia’s office. There she awaits on a throne of blood with George wearing the ceremonial robes. The door closes behind them by an unseen force.
Screams can be heard from the outside as the chant is recited and Ted Phillips descends from the ceiling behind the coach. As the ritual reaches its apex, Ted unhinges his jaw and consumes the coach’s head.
As he releases, the chants die, the blood red light returns to warm white, as the coach now understands the Bears playbook. Flats… WR screens…. Up the middle

Can’t wait for the new stadium to be built so even more people can witness mediocrity in person.
But we literally just had a Super Bowl run just 16 years ago…

We Bears fans are just traumatized, but we’ve got to be patient. I was also not expecting a great season, but maybe I was also too optimistic about where we would be at for the start of the season.
There are going to be ugly weeks: bad play, bad play calls, bad officiating calls, bad games. Hopefully less and less as the seasons goes on. Hopefully we see improvements and the players and coaching staff will learn from their mistakes, reassess, and adjust accordingly.
I’m going to be patient and wait to see how we perform on some of our weaker matchups as the season goes on. It’s easy to feel like the team sucks and beyond repair when you get your cheeks clapped by your biggest rival, again and again and again. But they potentially have one of the best defenses in the league and arguably one of the top 5 to ever be under center.
The day will come when the Packers fall off and the Bears run them out of Lambeau. And on that day I am going to be the most insufferable Bears fan those fucking cheesehead inbreds have experienced in their entitled lifetime.
BEAR THE FUCK DOWN AND FUCK THE FUCKING PACKERS.
New GM. New HC. New OC. New DC. New defensive scheme. New offensive scheme. Bloated cap from mismanagement for years. Lack or talent due to poor drafting in higher rounds/1st rounders traded away constantly.
This was never a 1 year turn around. Our cap has been reworked into the best available cash in the league next year; our draft was pretty highly rated by most analysts, and our line is already better than last year.
Give. It. Time.
Being a bears fan is being disappointed and than still selling out games year after year. We give ownership such incentive to really care about a winning team lol.
