  1. Sounds good to me. Rob will be back by opening day/week and I trust in kornet caboclo and kabengele to fill in spot minutes.

Kabengele especially impressed the heck outta me in summer league. This is a former first round pick that’s hungry to prove people wrong and prove he belongs in the league.

People are too reactionary from the news today. If by the trade deadline our roster isn’t working out then sure get a buyout candidate or cheap fill in via trade. But I say we give our guys a shot first

  2. The Celtics should add another front court piece to replace Galo. Maybe they’ll wait until the season starts to see if someone on the roster develops into the rotation. The focus should be on a balancing act of seeding and managing guy’s minutes. Should be an awesome year tbh.

  3. Kornet might be serviceable enough in regular season, but Bruno is the one of these options that intrigues me the most, he has the highest upside, he just needs to have some level of value on offense, because he can make an impact defensively for sure. At the very least, Bruno is a decent shout at trying to fulfill the Rob role on both ends as lob threat on offense and free safety on defense.

  4. I don’t want to see any of those non-guarantees playing a lick of meaningful basketball lol. They’re all trash. We need another backup big who’s actually playable

  5. Jayson is going to play a lot of 4 and Jaylen will play a lot at the 3. This would’ve happened regardless. We added Brogdon, who is a guard so sticking to the double big lineup like gospel wouldn’t be utilizing our talent to the fullest. Smart, White, and Brogdon are all guys most coaches would feel comfortable playing for 30+ minutes. Both guard spots need 96 minutes total. So feeling obligated to having Jaylen at the 2 doesn’t do us any good. Now obviously I wish Rob the best and want him out there, but maybe this could help out rotation issues in the long run.

All that being said, I don’t want many minutes of Smart+White lmao.

  6. Inexcusable. We’ve known for months now that the big man depth is weak and that we are one injury away from having to play these bums. Now that day is here
