  1. How’s Hockenson looking for Sunday? My only other tight end is Freiermuth so if I don’t switch by tomorrow and he’s out, I’ll have no tight end.

  2. Aidan played so hard they gave him a vet day of rest…………………………fml. I hope he is G2G Sunday

  3. I like they gave Aiden and Swift the extra recovery day. He and Aiden played their assess off and really fought for the win.

  4. Aidan supposedly got a Charley Horse, but it’s 3 days later and he needs a day off? I suspect more than a charley horse, which lasts only a few hours. Hope it’s just precautionary and he’s good to go on Sunday.

  5. Honestly not too concerned about this.

MCDC said he was giving Swift and Hurtch and extra day of rest. So we’ll see tomorrow.

Cominsky has been playing well, but Austin Bryant was a healthy scratch Sunday so between him and Demetrius Taylor it’s next man up. Our D line depth, along w our O line depth is quite solid considering.

Speaking of, 3/5 of our o line was out Sunday and they still performed. Would be great to have frank back and MCDC said he’s feeling better, but I don’t want to risk something more long term. Jonah is out for a few more weeks, probably till NE or after the bye, so while it’s not ideal it’s not a surprise.

Theyre burying the lede here w Iffy being a full participant in practice. That’s awesome. Considering Julian Okwara played well Sunday, if Iffy can come back in similar condition that’s a boost to the secondary.

  6. Increased injuries could be the unintended consequence of our focus on grit and toughness. I love where we’re headed but now we have to protect our stars. That seems to be what’s happening with these vet days.

  7. There’s a lot of other teams dealing with injuries right now as well, it can seem worse for us since we all probably don’t pay attention to every teams injury report. The bucs, chargers, and ravens all come to mind as dealing with worse situations off the top of my head

  8. Ngl who TF are the trainers for the Lions🤣🤣🤣 There is always going to be injuries in football, but do you notice that the lions always seem to have avoidable injuries (hamstrings especially) that could have been alleviated with ample preparation, recovery, and treatment. Just my opinion

  9. The Lions have gone completely silent on Jonah, indicating that it’s more than likely a serious injury. Look for Jonah to be put on IR this week. Rumors are circulating saying that he has the same injury that Decker had last year, which required surgery. Fortunately, Decker was able to come back and finish off the season. Hopefully we get Jonah back in time for a playoff push if we’re still in the hunt by then.
