  2. I don’t like this trade at this moment. Ainge must like Olynx a ton lol and any thoughts on Saben Lee? I’m guessing this will be turning into something bigger with picks?

    I was hoping to see Bogey competing for a championship. Maybe it depends on where Detroit ends up seeding wise, but does this mean they are pushing for playoffs? I don’t think they’re that good for that so maybe they’ll be selling at the deadline.

  4. Why do this?

    Edit: Saben Lee was the 38th pick two years ago in 2020. Averaged 16 minutes a game as a point guard last year for Detroit but shot horribly. Guess they did it for Saben Lee? Would have rather got a 2nd rounder from Detroit. Detroit got 4 seconds from the Knicks this summer in their trade. Or maybe Ainge likes Olynyk? To be fair, Olynyk played decent last year.

  7. Also why are we acquiring extra players? We’re gonna need to start cutting guys in like a week

  8. Weird move for both sides, pushes Pistons closer to mediocrity/out of the Wemby sweepstakes, Jazz get nothing of value for a really good player.

  9. I’m personally fine with getting anything for the vets rather than keeping them on the roster (from a rebuilding perspective, love Bogey/Mike/JC and what they’ve done for us). Definitely feel like we could have gotten a little more though. Either way, trust in Ainge

  11. Is Saben Lee better than I think? Cuz this seems like a trade just to make a trade. Don’t like it at all.

    And bogey deserves better than Detroit

  13. I’m not sure I love this? I mean it’s not horrible or anything, I just don’t like not getting a first round pick! Also seems weird for the pistons.

  19. Okay I guess Danny doesn’t want any good players on the team to hurt them Wemby chances. Losing Bogey subtracts some wins for sure. Otherwise I’m super confused by this trade.

  21. UHHHHHH there better be some picks in this trade. Pistons fans think Saben Lee sucks, Olynyk is just taking up cap space on a young team and surely Bojan is worth more than those two players??? If this is the whole trade I’m starting to question Ainge. If the goal was to not trade to the Lakers I guess mission accomplished??
