  1. Best Jersey decision of my life. Should be in the Flyers front office with my hockey wherewithal. Best case someone takes 94 and can get a new name plate or switch the 4 and 9. Bc Jersey shop would def hook a fan that supported em up, right. Who am I kidding tho. I will shamefully wear it like the asshole I am for supporting this clusterfuck of a team

  2. No need to be so pessimistic. I think I know what’s really going on here. Chuck is taking a page out of the Lightning’s playbook, like they did in 2021 with Kucherov.

Clearly Ellis is just *pretending* to be hurt. He’s actually fine. That’s why he’s not skating, he would look so good that the league would get wise to the ruse. By pretending to be hurt for two straight regular seasons, Ellis has giving Chuck extra cap space to build an incredibly dangerous roster, bringing in the likes of Tony DeAngelo, Rasmus Ristolainen, and Nic Deslauries. Once the Flyers coast to a playoff spot, Ellis’s hip and groin and glutes and taint will suddenly be 100% and the Flyers will tear through the playoffs with a turbocharged roster.

It even explains why they didn’t try to sign Johnny Gaudreau. They knew that this plan was so flawless, they didn’t need some undersized winger to make them playoff contenders. Hell, they don’t even need a backup goalie because you don’t play your backup in the playoffs.

Truly amazing maneuvering by Fletcher and Ellis. I would consider Chuck a shoo-in for GM of the Year.
