[Morreale] Devils training camp includes 3 groups on the ice today – some interesting looks in each group: Palat-Hughes-Holtz / Sharangovich-Hischier-Bratt / Wood-Haula-Mercer

   Sharangovich – Hischier – Bratt

   Wood – Haula – Mercer

   I know it’s only day 1, but it’s still interesting to see who is being tried out with who. Doesn’t mean these are definite lines obviously, but it does at least mean something

2. I like all three of those lines. Palat and Sharangovich can be switched around depending on chemistry and I’d still be happy with them.

4. Maybe it’s homer goggles but that seems like a great top six and a good top 9

5. I waited all season last season for a Mercer and Wood line because I think they would cause so much havoc together. Gimme gimme gimme.

6. That’s a good top 9. If everyone in that top 6 stays healthy, we could be above average offensively.

7. Wood Haula Mercer’s got some good jam… I like that one.

8. If those happened to be the lines for the opener, Devils have Tatar, Johnsson, Boqvist, Zetterlund, Bastian, Mcleod, Geertsen, Thompson and Foote for a single line

9. Back when Palat signed i said i wanted him with hughes and holtz. I think as long as hes healthy he will be a great fit with those two. Shango over mercer is a bit weird. We are missing potential as i think mercer can really be a 60-70 point guy but overall these lines make a ton of sense.
