Well when your captain asks for a trade, you can expect his C to be removed
I imagine he’s being politically correct. Last year was an utter failure on so many levels. And I can’t recall the last time a coach quit mid year one team.
Wheeler is a big boy getting paid high seven figures, and under his leadership they failed. Let’s not forget he looked invisible at times last year.
It’s absolutely time for a change. I honestly think they still haven’t changed enough.
Let’s hope Scheifele tries about 15% more than last year, because his 85% effort was noticeable. Still love him and want him to succeed. Fingers crossed the team can bounce back.
