White on playing on a line with Tkachuk and Bennett at the start of camp: “It’s been awesome. Those are two unbelievable players. I played with Chuky when we were kids, and Benny’s an unreal player as well. They make it easy out there.”

1. As a Flames & Bennett fan I’m glad Benny finally gets to play with Chucky. I loved watching Bennett have success playing with Huberdeau and you could see their bromance growing so I was really conflicted when Huberdeau was traded to Calgary on one hand I was super excited to get Huberdeau (didn’t expect much in return for Tkachuk) but on the other hand I felt gutted for Bennett.

   Monahan had Gaudreau but poor Bennett never got a real linemate he should’ve played with Tkachuk in Calgary but they only got a few games together during Chuckys rookie year in Calgary and that was with the 800 year old corpse of Troy Brouwer dragging them down.

   I hope they have some real success down their and Bennett continues to light it up.
