What’s with all this “tanking” season, rebuild talk, and brown paper bagging it? We have CotY Mike Vrabel as our coach. We have one of the only RBs in history who ran for 2k yards. We have Jeff Simmons and Kevin Byard. We have a chance every week.
Yes, Downing is ass. But Burks looks like he’ll be a star once we start throwing to him. Our rookie RT is doing pretty good? Like, our division is extremely open right now. I will continue to be stupidly optimistic about our team because what’s the point of being mad about the record. If we’re a bad team, we’re a bad team. The NFL is so tarnished this season that a win/loss record is the least of my issues.
Will any of our players be arrested for domestic abuse this year? Sexual assault? Will any of our players drive drunk or kill anyone? So much drama in the league has has been going on that I’m just rooting for the Boys, regardless. Head in the sand optimism.

I wasn’t out here with a pitchfork for art smith when he got his start at OC here. I was all in on tim Kelly for OC last year, and this year I’m still banging the drum for him.
Edit: I’ll also say, this has been the most relaxed I’ve felt during a Titans seasons ever. Even before the first game, I just haven’t been anxious or nervous. Fan since ’97 and I just feel thing will get sorted.
