1. I’d rather catch one of the 300 highlight posts on r/mlb or r/baseball then subject myself to the YES Network and their commentary booth.

2. They’re interrupting football for it. It’s cool but thanks to the steroid era it’s not a record. I don’t think they gave this much attention to Pujols’s 700th homerun and that is a bigger feat. Maybe it has to do with timing of the games and all, but I don’t recall the breaking in for his atbats.

3. Even better are the multiple updates per game on other teams’ games, especially on the Bally’s networks, just to say he didn’t hit it earlier and then show highlights of the other Yankees instead

5. I actually can’t stand Aaron judge or the Yankees. Also I don’t really care if he hits his 61st home run it’s not a big deal to me
