Sounds like he will only miss a couple of regular season games at least. It’s a shame to see. It does provide an opportunity to another player out of camp to see some NHL time at least.

With the exception of Liljegren (you can’t really play through a hernia), I’m guessing a lot of these players would be gutting through their injuries in the playoffs or a playoff race. Might as well heal properly when there’s not much meaningful hockey happening.
