  1. I really can’t understand why the team keeps giving Plumlee minutes, man. Our current roster can only get us to the play-ins at best, so playing Plumlee because he is our “best” center is just unproductive. We aren’t winning anyway, so we might as well play Williams, Kai, Thor etc. and let them develop.

  2. Please just field Hayward and Rozier for trades if Plumlee is gonna start a whole year at center…… go ahead and enter the victor sweepstakes. I get that miles has pretty much ruined our situation but that doesn’t mean we should just stand still as a result

  3. Maybe this is a smokescreen to drive up Plumee’s trade value?
If the league thinks he’s riding the bench does it make him less valuable on the trade market?
    I honestly don’t know.

  4. Training camp hasn’t even started yet, of course Cliff would lean towards the guys who have played before (even if Nick Richards has shown just about nothing in his NBA minutes)

  5. We know what Cliff is about, and I’d say we gotta pretty good grasp on what our current FO expects at this point. Why would anyone expect any different? We’ve seen this play out before…

  6. He is 19. Needs to build some strength and learn how to play in the pros.
If we stink at the break we will be trading all the expiring vets and he will play anyway.

  7. We’ve got Kai and Mark sitting and waiting for a shot to develop, but yeah let’s run with Plumlee, the already-established worst starting center in the league.

  8. I’m in the minority but I’m with whatever big fits with melo, Aka can run and jump and is passable on defense

  9. He is 19. At some point in the season we will probably reevaluate depending on how the team is playing, and how Mark is progressing. I really don’t expect the coaches to come out and say he will get minutes right off the bat.

  10. I’m not worried by this. I get that we want the new draft pick to come in and start but I’m sure he’s trying to keep team chemistry. New coach (to all these players) coming in, that’s the logical response to a pre training camp question on who starts. They are the vets. I’m sure if play, specifically defense, isn’t up to what he wants in camp and preseason, Clifford will make adjustments.

  11. At least he is going to play a second Center, not like Borrego that played PJ at the 5 even tho that strategy was a bad every time.
