Game preview predictions for upcoming matchup against the Texans

If I was a betting man I’d put money on the Texans. Or just against the chargers every game. If I lost the bet it means the chargers won, and if the chargers lose I win money. Win-win….. right?:(
It’s gonna be a Rank or Grant type of game. Very low odds that we win by multiple scores. We only have 5 wins by more than 6 points in Herbert’s career (excluding KC rested starters week 17 2020) and I don’t see it happening this time with so many injuries
If Keenan plays we have a chance. Gonna be ugly if he’s out
If this team scores more than 21 pts I’ll be shocked

I’m gonna assume everyone who picked us did not watch Sunday’s game
How anyone has us winning is beyond me. With all these injuries we are cooked.
A bunch of them apparently didn’t watch our game our see our injury report
Ok this is a game that we totally win for the sole purpose of reinvigorating our hopes for the chargers season only to be dashed away next week
I’ll be shocked if we win by more than 4 points. We’re basically an average NFL team for the rest of the season.
I like Gordon’s prediction – not sure who’s gonna win, but the game will be 20-10
This might be a revenge/miracle game where the chargers win by 14+ points somehow (even with all the injuries) and they look great! we all get excited & then we go on to get a goose egg next week against the browns. I’ve been here before. Anyways, bolt up!! ⚡️⚡️⚡️
**Completely useless stats**
The Texans D is averaging almost 8.3 fewer points than the Chargers D. The Chargers offense is averaging only 3 more points a game than the Texans. Overcoming 3 points rather than 8 seems more doable. Advantage Texans (only 3 weeks in, averages don’t mean much, don’t take this seriously)
As a Chargers fan, take the Texans against the spread. Easy money

I just have this eerie feeling that this game could end in a tie…
If we lose it’s going to be because Storm Norton starts at tackle opposite Pipkins, and if that happens I am going to start screaming for Telesco’s head. The inability to build anything remotely resembling serviceable O-line depth with the franchise QB on a rookie deal is absolutely inexcusable.
If storm norton is playing LT we aren’t winning and herbert will get injured from getting hit in his blind spot so much all game
After all the injuries we’ll be lucky to even put points on the board
Chargers are a 6 win team this year. Another failed season. I hope Herbert leaves after his contract is up. Chargers are a bum franchise and Herbert would be way more successful elsewhere. The truth hurts doesn’t it? tired of seeing Herberts career get wasted with this atrocious organization.

I especially like G. Gordon’s prediction. He thinks a team is going to win 20-10, he just can’t decide which team that is!
Last year it was “20 players have COVID”. This year it’s “A lot of our starters are injured”. Can we never **not** have an excuse when we ~~lose to~~ play the Texans?

I’ve been avoiding the talking heads this week but I’m curios, Do they bring up our injuries or just assume were worse than expected?
Texans r pretty underrated not this year but next year I think things will click. They finally got the run game going.
This makes me very nervous…

I predict we will go into the 4th quarter with a double digit lead. Then Staley and Lombardi will go into full run mode after letting Herbert go off the first three quarters. Texans will climb back into the game only to lose it at the very end.
