  1. I mean he was a pretty good backup for the Cowboys. 2100 yards, 14 TD, 8 INT in 9 starts. And he went 3-3 with a garbage Bears team after that. It’s not like we’re expecting him to be a franchise QB.

  2. In fairness, he led the bengals to 4 playoffs, with 3 pro bowl appearances. This saints team can win with AD.

  3. He isn’t the QB he once was when he was with the Bengals, but that’s OK. We don’t need him to be. Our defense can carry this time. We just need him to be serviceable.

  4. Same could be said about Winston. The whole leauge hates us, do we really have to fight over something so dumb amongst ourselves. If your starter is injured, and it affects his play you put in the back up. Andy is a backup for a reason. Did everyone get pissed when Breesy got hurt and Teddy went in ? I know different injury, but the dude has a broken back! Would you go to work with a broken back ? Let alone a physical on like his, where the likelihood of you getting hit again is extremely high.

  5. Dalton was pretty good for the Bengals until their team was bad enough to get the first overall pick. He was a good backup for the Cowboys and didn’t play terribly for the Bears with one of the worst rosters.
