Looks like Branch from The Trolls movie.
I get mascots are geared towards kids and several Seattle team mascots don’t have anything to do with the team theme (see Squatch and the Moose), but I’m disappointed with all sorts of cool nautical themed choices this is the direction they went.
Ridiculous, but most mascots are and kids will love it.
My one year old seems to like it.

A sentient chicken parm would’ve been a better mascot.
The ear piercing really brings it all together

My kids like it. So their focus testing seems to have worked. He’s got some Gritty in him. Hopefully he becomes just as much of a “troll” online.

Even though there’s a family of black bears roaming around Issaquah, none of the pro teams have used that species as a mascot. WA also has the Olympic Marmot as well, for the “cute and cuddly”.
Dude this is so bad. I love it. Like this is not even cool bad like Gritty, just bad. I really love that. I don’t know why but i’m grinning like an idiot. All of the criticisms are correct and yet here I am, loving Buoy
