  1. So is this where we’re all supposed to be nostalgic and emotional for the next few hours?

  2. hurry and lets get this game over with. i got ragers to throw tonight (yeah, that’s right, on a WORK night too lmao)

  3. i just bought kale, spinich, green onion, and brussel sprouts.

is this what being an adult is like? it feels weird…

  4. I love how Boeing runs an ad for a T7-A redhawk before the game like someone is just gonna whip out their phone and buy one from their seat in Busch Stadium.

“Babe!!! WHERE’S MY CARD? No, I know it won’t fit in the driveway, but I need it!”

  5. Oli says there’ll be no hard cap on innings or pitches for Waino today. We’ll see how that goes.

  6. Growing up a kid of divorced parents I am used to goodbyes. My dad would visit so often it made it seem like they weren’t really split up, but each time our visit ended we said goodbye. It was a bit sad, but I knew there would be next time. I’m not ready to say goodbye to our Mangs because we know this is it. There is no next time. I grew up watching Albert, Yadi, and Waino. We’ve witnessed two World Series wins and more playoff appearances than I can count. What a ride, what an experience.

  7. I think maybe I’m not as sad about the end of the era because I tend to see endings as a cause for celebration moreso than a reason to mourn a loss. I’m extremely excited for all three of our heroes, and really looking forward to seeing what they all go on to in the future. Waino will obviously be around as a broadcaster somewhere (if he chooses that), Yadi is gonna be coaching and probably working his way back into an MLB club management situation with some experience, and Albert could write his own check with any club as a skills/hitting coach.

  8. Game hasn’t even started yet but I’m already all emotional.

    Thank you, Albert.
    Thank you, Yadier.
    Thank you, Adam.

Thank you for all the amazing memories. Thank you for the records. Thank you for it all.

Thank you for an amazing ride the last 20 years.

  9. Cardinals have so much money in their budget this offseason if you include the extra money they didn’t spend this year. No reason not to get a big money star

  10. It’s great that [MLB.tv](https://MLB.tv) has this as the free game today, but damn I want to see the pregame stuff. I think it’s safer for me to go to the bar to watch. I’m sure once I’m there with 20 friends I won’t end up drinking all day.
