  1. Not a play calling issue. This is an issue where your QB can literally only see what he stares at. Absolutely pathetic effort from the 28 million dollar man.

I think it is also important to see how much fucking worse he has gotten over the weeks.

Wentz week 1: [Hit on some big throws. Absolutely no interest in using the middle 40% of the field.](https://i.imgur.com/w5lGWaA.jpg)

Wentz week 2: [Awful in the 1st half, lets it rip in the 2nd half. Still don’t have a completion up the seam.](https://i.imgur.com/kQUz9oc.jpg)

Week 3: [What the fuck are we looking at here? Beyond 10 yards there is 40 yards side to side he absolutely refuses to throw to in 43 reps. He also took 8 sacks. He just never once decided to throw the ball anywhere but the LOS or the sideline.](https://i.imgur.com/C0wIjAt.jpg)

Week 4: [2 passes over the middle this game. 3/12 on throws over 10 yards with 2 picks.](https://i.imgur.com/mTaRyqr.jpg)

The dude is cooked. Can’t even look at the middle of the field.

  2. Even when he has time he misses open receivers badly. He’s rattled right now, zero confidence.

  3. He’s playing a different game than Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers, Allen, Herbert, the list goes on

Hell he’s playing a different game than Cooper Rush.

It’s a bad combo of a non mobile QB who makes poor decisions with pressure and a patch and play Offensive Line. I could see why they tried to establish the run. Problem was for every good run by a running back the O line would match that with a false start or hold. That or Wentz would lose yardage with an intentional grounding

  4. He can’t mentally process good enough. Doesnt make any checks at the line, can’t read defense, can’t work through his progressions, can’t make anticipatory throws.

  5. This graphic is damning. We literally could put TH in there to be more efficient than this. He can at least hit a crosser.

  6. For me, it is his time to make a decision. I feel like he holds the ball forever. Is there a source that shows how long a QB takes from snap to throw?

  7. One more game like this. Scratch that. One more half like that you have to go to someone else. It’s obviously mostly mental with Wentz and if he came shake it, sit him down. Go to heinecke for a game or two and see what howell can do.

I do not trust the evaluators on this team. It was only the preseason but howell passed the eye test. Wentz has failed every test thus far, and the dude is seeing ghosts

  8. Where all the “Wentz a top-15 QB, for sure better than Hurts” people at? Hundreds of you saying that all offseason got so quiet recently…

  9. Was willing to give the guy a bit of a pass on week 2 but with it only getting worse in week 3 and 4, QB has to take responsibility. Gotta find some success even if the oline is a mess. That’s what a true #1 QB does. His decline is kind of remarkable lol

Ron has got to be on the hot seat, this is his team top to bottom and it’s playing the same as it did his first year through four games. With signs pointing towards it getting worse before it gets better.

  10. I can’t count the amount of times I’ve been downvoted for saying that Wentz was washed up. Skip TH. The Howell era needs to start the minute that Robinson Jr. is activated.

Wentz is the reason that our OL is in shambles. He’s slow thinking, slow operating, slow winding up, slow to release and he can’t even adjust in the pocket. Wentz is yet another example of the team refusing to adjust to wrong decisions.

  11. We ran Haskins out of town for doing this same shit but at least he was a young QB and not a 7 year vet

  12. I’m amused anybody is shocked Wentz didn’t work out. All of this is 100% on Rivera. I said a long time ago we would be better off with Heinicke season 2 than Wentz.

  13. Our coaching staff sucks. They can’t find a way to protect him. Our other QBs are oviously more mobile but they can’t see past their 25 million dollars mistake, so the fans suffer.

  14. Stats and impressions are funny. If this was done by design and the Commanders won or kept it close, I don’t think it’ll be a problem. The narrative would be “Scott Turner called a quick, short passing west coast offense to counter a fierce pass rush. Get the ball into the hands of the playmakers and let them do the work. ”

But it wasn’t intentional, didn’t look good and the Commanders were embarrassed (as usual). So the narrative is different (and correct): a woeful performance by a QB and his playcaller.

  15. Is it possible to find the lowest number of yards to highest number of pass attempts? 42 pass attempts for 170 total yards for a total of 4.076 yards per attempt is absolutely astounding. Maybe we did break records yesterday that we didn’t even realize!
