  1. when projecting something there is a continuum of possible outcomes. distilling that into a single accurate number is hard and full of uncertainty (fwiw Micah does a pretty good job visualizing the possible number of outcomes and their likelihood [here](https://hockeyviz.com/static/txt/preview2223/preview2223points-ALL.png)). just something to keep in mind when someone tries to project a team with as many question marks as the Sabres.

  2. I feel we can be mid 80’s. Our young guys will be better and our goaltending won’t be as erratic as last year. The only thing that sucks is everyone else got better too except maybe Montreal.

  3. The bruins are projected at 107 points? I don’t think the fall off will be as dramatic as some people think, but I see them as more of a 90-100 point team. When does everyone even get healthy?

  4. Came to say: Wow that Yzerman effect on projections for Detroit. Hey seeldog any way you can find data on Tampas rise when Yzerman took over? I’m curious as to the similarity and correlation of data. But idk if it was compiled at that time and know you would lol

  5. This doesn’t line up with my projection of 93 points that I pulled out of my ass with optimism… I am OUTRAGED!!!

  6. God being in this division sucks. If we were in the metro we might have a chance at making the playoffs.
