Cody is very deserving. Glad to see it.
I am not a crier, unless I’m super pissed or I know I’m watching Pekka’s last skate, but I teared up when he did. SO happy for him. There’s something about watching these kids live their dream that hits me in the feels.
ETA: I’ve had a Turris jersey in my closet that got on clearance and I’ve been holding on to it while debating who to get it changed to. One day it’s Jeannot, one day it’s Tolvy, another it’s Tomasino. But I’ve just decided. It’s gonna be Glass.
I cannot imagine the feeling. It’s not just congrats you made the team it has to be so much more considering how young these guys start and how long it takes to get to this point. Hopefully he pans out for us long term and has a great rookie season, we need as many good young guys as we can get.
