[Jeff Duncan] The refs appeared to have botched the call on the Saints’ opening drive vs MIN. Cesar Ruiz was ruled an ineligible man downfield on a screen to Mark Ingram, but Ingram caught the ball behind the line of scrimmage, making Ruiz legal. Same scenario on MIN’s 1st TD & refs let it go.

  1. Pretty sure at this point the refs are under 50% for correct calls if you take out the easy stuff like false starts. That’s not even counting missed calls and selective enforcement. The games would be better officiated if they just did nothing

  2. So, someone in the r/nfl thread for this mentioned the rule is when the QB release the ball, not when the receiver catches it.

But then they watched the video and its even more egregious where Ruiz was within one yard of the LOS, just like the Vikings players were

  3. Along with Mathieu’s illegal hands followed by Lattimore’s DPI while he was getting facemasked. It’s becoming about as real as WWE

  4. The refs botched a call against the Saints?

    Okay.

I will file that under… “No Shit”.

  5. There is no way any other team gets fucked more than the saints. It makes it unwatchable. I hope one day some crazy leak comes out saying the refs were in fact fucking the saints somehow.. right now people just act like we’re crazy

  6. Nothing those shitbags do anymore surprises me at this point. The league isn’t even trying whatsoever to mask the rig anymore
