Does this mean he will play in the AHL or is he going to the OHL?
Surprised a bit by this one considering how little he’s gotten to show due to injuries.
Seems premature
hope he’s healthy this year and torches the OHL
WELCOME TO THE FAMILY!
Maybe they want to make sure he plays in case the O suspends him again due to pressure by the media and some people
Good, I don’t support what Logan did obviously, but for the new regime to be comfortable with signing him shows a lot of good progress IMO and the Habs are in the business of winning hockey games at the end of the day.
He did have a great camp…. /s
Never should have drafted him, but he’s here now, and seems willing to learn from his mistakes. I hope he’s honest about that, easy enough for a young kid to make a mistake, hope it was the result of peer pressure or bravado or whatever and not some ingrained misogynistic tendency.
Anyway, we got him now, hope he works out. Go habs!
Any update on his injury ? Is he gone for long time ?
Surprised honestly. But the rumors has it that the Habs dev people look at him like our best D prospect so that contract tracks.
This just locks him in under contract so that he can’t re-enter the draft next year I believe?
He’s still playing in the OHL this season, hopefully a lot and hopefully stays healthy while doing it.
I would imagine they see big things in him.
Let’s fucking Go. He has so much potential
If we want change to happen, we need bad stuff to keep being talked about. Letting him walk means what he did is quickly forgotten. By signing him, and if he makes the team, we ensure this will be talked about for however long he is on the team and he is a bigger voice in making a change.
This is a good step for helping change sports culture, if only one kid hears what he did and makes better choices for it
This is exactly what I said would happen at the time of the pick *shrugs*.

This won’t be controversial at all
