  1. I really dislike rambis and the fact he is associated with making any basketball decisions. He should not have a say in anything

  2. Literally the worst thing you can say to a basketball player. Imagine if he had some positive reinforcement like we’re going to get you back into your old form soon.

  3. Dwight is a solid backup or 3rd stringer. The fact that he never got playing time even when AD was hurt and we had no other centers was insane. He got put in the dog house after fighting AD in the 2nd game. Remember when the Lakers were upset they lost him in 2021? Got him back and basically benched him.

  4. Rambis is trash during both his player and coach time. How dare he talk to a future hall of famer like that?

  5. Maybe this was said in a more light-hearted way but still, that came out so wrong as to be thoughtless. Not a good look.

  6. Idk, Dwight has had issues managing his ego in the past. When he hit rock bottom he came back preaching team first every interview, but in 2022 he seemed different and ended up fighting with AD in game 2. I get that its easy to hate on Rambis but Dwight has a history of having a diva attitude with the exception of one season after being on the brink of being out of the league.

  7. Looking at the comments and more than half of yall didn’t really watch majority of the games, which is understandable cause we all have lives outside basketball.

Thanks Kurt but fuck you too

  8. Sometimes, these are the hard conversations to be had. It was also telling how much effectiveness Dwight lost from his 2nd and 3rd stint on the Lakers. It is real hard and I hope Dwight has a fitting end to his career. If anything, glad he played a big role in the title.

  9. It sounds mean but I get what he’s saying. i bet there was much more said and it wasn’t as cold as it sounds. love dwitght !

  10. I think we should sign Dwight again and he should retire with us. He’s definitely not what he used to be but he’s great energy on the bench and can still get rebounds and protect the rim while AD is on the bench.

  11. Dead in your 30s. Being a pro athlete is kind of tough because you have to die young and find a way to keep living the rest of your life.

  12. Kurt Rambis definitely knows more than this sub and actually had the balls to say it to Dwight’s face. The keyboard warriors here can’t relate.

  13. Sixers fan, I miss this guy. He was an excellent back up and embraced Frosties.

  14. So Kurt is in a position of power he’s way under qualified for and he’s a prick, what a combo

  15. kurt “numbnuts” rambis as usual… man dwight wasn’t it last season, but there’s tons of ways to tell dwight to be better. this ain’t it

  16. I’m honestly surprised he was still with the team after that AD fight. Dwight, unfortunately, burned too many bridges in the league with his ego spats.

F Kurt though, he was likely the decision maker behind the signing and starting of DJ.
