My brother in law is a Mets fan. He saw this coming all season long. He set himself up not to be disappointed. The fact they win 101 games and be a wild card is just nuts.
An early NFL season equivalent is the Baltimore Ravens. They’ve trailed for a total of 14 seconds this season. But they’re 2-2. Out of 240 minutes, they’ve trailed for only 14 seconds. And have 2 losses.
I’ve never seen a fanbase more upset to be in the playoffs than the Mets right now.
Can somebody tell my why Braves are not Wildcard but Mets are even if the win/loss is the same? (Newbie from Germany)

I’m very much aboard the “Let’s bring it home with a back-to-back” train… however the salt is real, and I will absolutely live with a 2021 ring, a massive comeback for the division title, and an early departure from the craps shoot that is the playoffs.
Listen, as a Yankee fan I hate the Mets but if we’re being honest they got boned (don’t tell Mets fans I said that though).
