Zach Wilson is back: Week 4 analysis

  1. Tbh, was more positive than I was expecting from JT. Not surprised he called out the random misfires on passes around the LOS, head scratching for everyone involved.

  2. You heat me too it :p, always notice how he had some issues with the plays themselves

  3. I think the big thing is the positives were very high. So many downfield passes where Zach was accurate and showed the arm off. The bad throws still there, but he clearly made some big plays.

I feel like his bad plays are easy to coach him up on. Missed screens/flat throws, also throwing the balll away faster. I think with time he’ll cut those down.

  4. Those missed throws looked like miscommunications, not bad accuracy. The screen in particular to Wilson looked like Zach wanted to lead him forward with the pass

  5. He can’t hit a swing or screen pass to save his life but boy he can rip it at times. That deep out to Moore was insane .

  6. I feel like he rushes short-term passes and in turn is super sloppy with his accuracy – no doubt he’ll work on that and clean it up as the season progresses.
