  1. I mean first of all he is going to need to back up those words by pitching well in every outing. Secondly everyone else needs to back him up and perform up to there standards as well. I think if everyone plays the way they know they can there really is nobody we can’t beat. I mean LA Houston and now Atlanta can’t win it all every year. Fuck the Astros they need so badly to be taken down a peg. We can slug with any team and hell if we get the good berrios we’ve got four elite starting pitchers. Our bullpen on the whole looks a little rough but our top six guys that we rely upon have been solid. Hard to knock our defensively play this year either. Our stars should win us the Seattle series. Houston should be favoured very minimally if/when we face them. I find it hard to believe that a set group of teams are simply world beaters. Great pitchers and great players can be beaten. I guess what I’m saying at the end of the day is I think alot of peoples views on the jays are flawed right now. Looking at the pitching as a whole is extremely flawed because aside from berrios the pitchers we are going to be using in the playoffs are all elite aside from a few mop up guys. If this isn’t our year that’s alright I’m just hoping that the World Series winning team isn’t a world beating type team. The underdog story is always better unless it’s your favourite team losing.
