[Vince] Lines For Today

  1. Was super pumped for Kravtsov to be back , but so far has had a lack luster preseason and seems to be in the dog house ):

  2. Kravtsov is getting cut for Hunt again, isn’t he? There’s no way that isn’t a mistake

  3. Goodrow with Chytil and Laf is just not gonna work. We’ve already seen he can’t keep up with them.

  4. Shoulda kept Othmann. He would help solve the RW issues this team is having. Kravtsov is gonna bolt again due to this mismanagement. How can he build chemistry by being on the 5th line?

  5. I feel like GG is working really hard to preserve 20-93 and 13-72-24 (he’s cracked on this one) and to some extent 10-16 also. This makes managing the rest of the lineup harder when you handcuff yourself with set pairs or lines.

This isn’t last year’s team. I haven’t once see 10-93 or 13-93 or 10-72-24 or any other non-traditional lineup. Training camp and preseason is exactly the time to try this stuff and GG seems set in his ways. Players change, chemistry changes and evolves. Don’t get stuck in last year.

  6. Daily reminder all the team needed to do was not sign Reaves and Hunt and we’d still have Buch for this year (and would have had our 2022 1st) since we wouldn’t have needed to trade for a guy like Copp.

Depressing to see Kravstov looks to be the latest example of the failures of the last regimes European scouting and insistence of going that route and depressing to see this regimes insistence on spending nearly $8 million on 4th liners have left us with ZERO right wingers that appear able to play a top six role

At this point I don’t even know why Trocheck is locked to a 2C when frankly a 3rd line of Goodrow/Trocheck/Kakko sounds like a good 3rd line.

  7. Kravtsov is never gonna work here. He’s just not good enough to be in the top 6.

  8. Kakko laf chytil showing there potential playing together let’s move kakko up I get how that’s a so called reward but why not play the kid with who he excels with …
