The problem the team has is they only employ 2 shot creators. (Kd/kyrie)
Bucks have 3 (Jrue/kmid/Giannis)
Sixers have 3 (Embiid/Maxey/harden)
Miami has 3 (butler/Herro/ and maybe Lowry/bam)
Etc, if kyrie or Kd aren’t creating an advantage the team stagnates. Ben is more of a connector on offense. We’re definitely in need of a center but a third guy who can get his own shot is paramount. I still wouldn’t push the panic button based on yesterday. The team was playing third stringers that shouldn’t be on nba rosters.
Only worry is Simmons conditioning after 480 days off, step slow and looks stiff
Because we resigned therapist Mills instead.
We need a stretch 5.
A Simmons/Claxton starting lineup is terrible for spacing and offense. Teams can literally double KD and Kyrie at will and leave Clax/Ben open.
