  1. I agree personal shots are ridiculous. Criticize the play all you want it was terrible… but everyone bring your expectations way down or you won’t find any enjoyment for the next 12 weeks. Time to focus on seeing these guys develop now.

  2. Family is off limits but his character can absolutely be criticized since it’s part of being a leader and how you compose yourself etc.. it’s part of his role as the QB of the team. Someone’s character can absolutely be questioned otherwise we wouldn’t be talking about AB and his character, Watson and his character, etc… character is actually very crucial to success!

  3. In my unqualified and primitive opinion, Russell Wilson and George Paton may be embezzling $124 million from the Waltons. I need to know why it was so important to sign Russ before the ownership changed and before Russ played a single snap, preseason or otherwise. Russ was never tested at full speed since he played hurt last year. But we paid him despite it all.

This is so fkn suspect I can’t help but consider there might be a character issue where Russ is concerned.

  4. Russ seems like a very nice guy, so personal digs are completely out of line. Thing is, we don’t pay him for being a nice guy, so job performance criticism is another matter.

  5. this is the 3rd or 4th post I’ve seen like this, what the hell is everyone talking about? Something specific or just in general speaking about twitter trolls or???

  6. I always see these declarations but I never see any posts that they refer too. What are you sorting by? are you actively looking for these so you can complain?

  7. Broncos are the laughing stock of sports right now. I’ve never seen so much ridiculing in my life

  8. I totally agree with absolutely no shots at his family, but Russell’s character is a big part of why he has been and is struggling on the field. This drastic collapse, while unfortunate, may be the one thing that can motivate him to turn his career around (and, hopefully ditch his overly orchestrated, obtuse public persona).

As a Hawks fan, the thing I wanted most was for Russell to just be himself and focus on the game. I hope the guy figures it out…

  9. Yo… Russ looks like he is struggling mentally… and our shitty fans aren’t helping. Also why are people dropping the ball?

  10. I don’t know what everyone is so surprised by this, is it right to talk about his wife? No. But him and his wife are celebrities, and nothing is off limits when it comes too celebrities and media.

  11. I have advice for everybody here. People in the media aren’t always expressing their actual opinion. They’re expressing an opinion that will generate publicity. What does Brandt have to lose from making this hot take? Stephen A Smith has been an ignorant idiot for years with bad takes and he still has a job.

Stop taking it so personal. These guys are just trying to make money for themselves, it’s their job to be sensational. They don’t care what they say. They don’t get fact checked. Just tune out the bad takes. Don’t acknowledge them.

The fact we are talking about Brandt means his bullshit take worked.

  12. Brandt is a sort of correct, but comparing them ignoring him at the red carpet vs how he might be in the locker room is not fair. Wilson has to earn the respect of the “brand” he’s created. He may be a great guy off the field, but that doesn’t but him a pass from hard criticism on his football performance. No one is really “attacking” him though. But for now the guy seems all flash, all talk, and nothing to back it up. He’s one of the worst players on that offense.

  13. Obviously, shots at his family are deplorable, but as it pertains to his character and image? That’s fair game. He just played perhaps the worst game of his career and still had the balls to eek out a “broncos country, let’s ride.” as he walked off the stage. Dude looks fake as fuck and it’s absolutely fair to rip him for it.
