1. To me this kinda reads as if at first he was bummed out but I think he finally saw the vision. That and I think he knows he’s for sure in the running for a starting position. Dudes a fuckin baller.

2. He saw the contract Herro got coming off the bench and he was like aight maybe its not so bad lol

3. Its prob to get some scoring off the bench. You have THJ but beside that who you really got?

   Kleber? Bullock? McGee if Wood would start?

   Theres hoping Hardy can be the real deal and then maybe you can put Wood as a starter. Or Green.

   In that case you can also put Green/Hardy starting at SG and have Dinwiddie come off the bench. I think Wood has more potential then Widdie so its better to have a good relationship with him and let him play with Luka like he did with Harden.

5. At the end of the day, he’ll play 30 mins a night and will be in the closing line up so it really doesn’t matter. He can gun for the 6MOY by averaging 20+pts and 10reb on a winning team and he’ll get a huge ass contract.

6. Its just for the mentality anyways. Kidd (imo) basically saying we are not gonna give this dude who (apperently) some problems/ego issues all the wheel.

   Wood easily second skilled player on this team so one way or another at some point he is gonna be 2nd star for this team so no need to think about it really (if Wood doesnt mind ofc)

7. We really need to ignore everything right now. It’s going to be so different when the regular season starts.

8. Probably just trying to disprove the narrative that he’s not a team player, it could be sincere but I guess we can’t really tell. Either way I’m happy to have him on the team.
