I understand the argument for keeping Temple on the roster. I heard (on locked on pelicans) he is a great leader for the young guys and also voted along with CJ one of the active players who is most likely to be a future coach.
But honestly, why play him so much when there’s so much talent on the team. Looking at all the players https://www.spotrac.com/nba/new-orleans-pelicans/cap/ I’d personally rather see the two-way players get his minutes.

Because the only time you can put him on the floor without hurting the team is in the preseason. He won’t be getting minutes outside of blowouts in the regular season.

Temp an Najis minutes are just a split version of BIs minutes plus IT’S PRESEASON. EVERYONE PLAYS BECAUSE IT DOESN’T MATTER 😭😭
And you don’t play the 2 ways heavy minutes with the regular rotation because there’s a good chance they’ll never play with them so no reason to build up chemistry like that. Preseason is to get your 15 man roster ready for the season Not to test out 2 ways. If BI And Herb were here you would see very little of Temp until the starters 20 mins are up.
