Dinwiddie going back to leading the second unit according to Jason Kidd
Jason Kidd tells me that Spencer Dinwiddie will be going back to his role last season, leading the second unit.

Who moving to 2 guard? Tim jr, Hardy?
With how bad the bench units looked the other day its no wonder they are moving Dinwiddie back to help them out with playmaking, its a problem we only have two guards like that in the whole roster so we have to sacrifice the starting line up so we get some stability on the bench.
It is what it is, should have signed a 3rd playmaker when we lost Brunson.
Something like Doncic- THJ- Reggie-DFS-McGee
Spencer-Green-Maxi-Wood off the bench

I think this is the right move for now, if we can sign another ball handler we can reevaluate it

THJ will be a starter, because with Dinwiddie there’s too much overlap with Doncic and because THJ and Wood both want to shoot a lot. You don’t need 2 playmakers on the floor…
This was a special case last year, when we didn’t have any off ball movement and then Doncic couldn’t do everything alone and he was also way too fat early in the season. And THJ couldn’t hit anything on offense and he played no defense. We needed Brunson to bail us out. We don’t need another playmaker next to Doncic anymore. We need a scorer. And if he does get tired, well then just put Dinwiddie back in the game.

i don’t know but i think it could also mean he just subs out early and come back in when the 2nd unit enters
