  1. I never could get into baseball. It’s just too slow, and too long. But the Jays are my team.

  2. I’m so glad I only cheer for one Toronto Sports Team (Jays). Holy hell was that an ugly loss today. The Manager should never get to Manager another game again after pulling a Pitcher who was rolling. I can’t imagine also cheering for the Leafs.

  3. Don’t ever watch baseball til august, but when I do it’s the Jays and get pretty into it. That was gut wrenching. They say never leave the table when you’re on a heater. I can not believe they pulled Gaus after b2b outs with the bases loaded and the building rocking. Absolute failure in feeling the moment, put the batter (switch hitter) on his strong side too. Just a full on management gaffe. There’s a place for analytics in modern sports but damn you gotta find the balance and give and take with it for sure. It’s baseball after all, the ultimate “mano a mano” I beat you or you beat me sport. You gotta lean into the drama and go with your guy there.

  4. I don’t care much about baseball, but being from Calgary, Seattle would obviously be the team to bandwagon, so mildly excited about today. Always nice to see Toronto teams lose (sorry Jays fans)

  5. At least I no longer have to hear 5+ hours of baseball talk on the fan. Which by the way is at least 10x more boring than actually watching it.
