  1. Announers are obsessed with exit velo. Yea, we get it, the ball was hit hard and went over the fence.

  2. In case you didn’t hear that a coach in Michigan had a seizure, they’ll also let you know every 5 minutes.

  3. I really, really, really wish they would let SNY carry the feed with our own announcers. This would be so much better with G/R/K depending on health.

  4. Please show me some bullshit 6th grade geometry graphic everytime there’s a strike on the edge of the batter’s box, my tiny brain can’t process how the call was made unless I have the visual aid of a 3D trapezoid

  5. literally the stats are the only good thing they do. if they sat quietly and watched the game it would be fine

  6. we need Lee Corso to run into the booth screaming “LEEEROYYYY…..JENNNNNKIIINNNSSSS!!” and then we’ll have all self-actualized.

  7. Last night we synced Howie and Wayne with the broadcast and it was great. Tonight we watched it on ESPN Deportes using the app and it was also great! Their play by play brings a lot of energy to the calls – she’s fantastic! Highly recommend it! (Note – I don’t speak Spanish so not sure if she’s better than the ESPN pain, but looked hearing the crowd and her energy.)

  8. Buy the audio package from MLB for $20/yr, and you can sync up the radio, and listen to Howie and Wayne. It’s a pain because it’s delayed, and you have to sync it up every half inning, but it’s worth it.

  9. IN CASE YOU FORGOT: League average OPS+ is 100.

We’ll be back for the next batter to remind you that the league average OPS+ is 100.

  10. its funny, i understand everything in this screenshot at an immediate glance and yet your point about ESPN is still completely accurate

  11. Hey, at least we were fortunate enough not to get stuck with Michael Kay and A-Rod the past two games.

  12. Why the fuck did they keep showing the upcoming padres lineup in the top left when the Mets were still at bat? I don’t get that? Was there that much disregard for their at bat?

  13. The most infuriating part for me is that after a pitch is thrown – despite all of this crap on the screen, they have to take the count away to tell you what kind of pitch it was – put it somewhere else.
