We’re on our 3rd string QB. We weren’t beating anyone today lol. We move
I called this as soon as I saw them even talking about it. Clear as day it shouldn’t have been called.
The officiating has been horrible for both sides of the ball and teams as well. That said the fins look awful can’t tackle or catch well apparently among others.
So much work left for this team but I’m very hopeful it will be sorted. Keep your fins up after this rough day.
Granted, we don’t win this game regardless, being down to our 3rd string QB and losing a bunch of other players. But still, that was bullshit and the league needs to admit it.
Who cares the safety ended up being meaningless anyway
Mind boggling that they called it a safety and didn’t overturn. I don’t see any argument for intentional grounding in that situation. Complete robbery
It’s irrelevant. We just got embarrassed by the Jets..
I’m also upset because he lands with all his weight on the qb, which is supposed to be roughing the passer.
Intentional grounding shouldn’t be called when the QB is hit and the ball comes out funny. How the fuck is the pass supposed to be accurate when your body/arm is absorbing contact?
Hot take: if the league cares about QB safety then Intentional Grounding shouldn’t even exist. It’s ok for a QB to spike the ball to save time on the clock but they can’t throw the ball into the turf to avoid a hit?
I’m more confused that Bridgewater passed all concussion testing and didn’t really seem to have a concussion due to the hit. (Note I’m not saying he should have been allowed back in it’s new rules and such). But Wilson when he scored his rushing TD had his bell rung as he was scoring and ran quickly to the sideline to sit on bench and just wave off the staff saying he was fine. Why was he at least not checked? He may well not have anything that happened but if you pull Teddy for that then Wilson should at least been checked.
Hurts just had a ball that was ruled an incompetent pass on a play that looked just like Teddy’s, except teddy’s looked closer to a person than Hurts. We don’t win regardless of this, but its still bullshit.
