Hope they clear, I liked their games this preseason and shaws been a solid staple and fan favorite down in Iowa a few seasons.
Huh, didn’t see that one (both being waived) coming
Probably to sneak them through waivers now so they don’t have to waive whoever they keep up when Greenway is healthy. Less likely to be claimed now with a huge waiver list and rosters pretty set vs in a few weeks when a team may be looking for help after an early season injury.
In case anyone is feeling really bad for them, both these guys have relatively nice (for the player) two-way contracts. Petan will make 500K if he plays the whole year in the AHL and Shaw 125K.
Is this a good thing? Does this mean they’re going to be on the MN Wild roster?
